Cook Time: 15 minutes
Serves 6 - 8
2 crescent dinner roll cans 1 teaspoon pepper
8 slices of deli ham 6 slices colby-monterey jack cheese
12 eggs 4 tablespoons of Butter (divided)
1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
** Helpful tips **
Keep the dough in the refrigerator until your ready to use, this allows it to unroll easier with less sticking.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Prep a cookie sheet with parchment paper or non-stick spray (your choice for easy clean up). Roll out 1 can of crescent dinner rolls onto the cookie sheet and seal the cuts in the dough by pinching them together. Lay the 8 slices of deli ham over top the dough.
In a large bowl whisk 12 eggs, seasoning with 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of pepper. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet on medium-high heat, and scramble eggs.
Pour scrambled eggs over top the ham slices and spread. Layer on 6 slices of colby-monterey jack cheese, and cover with the second can of crescent dinner rolls (pinch together and seal the cuts).
Melt 2 tbsp of butter and brush across the top of the dough (you can substitute the butter for an egg wash if preferred). Finish with a sprinkling of salt, pepper, and sesame seeds. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes, cut, and serve.
